Let s clarify how do Allergen-free fragrances differ from Hypoallergenic ones. There is a regulation of the Customs Union "On the safety of perfumery and cosmetic products" (TR CU 009/2011) which lists 26 substances that are included in the list of allergens:

17. Linalool – 3,7-dimetylo- 1,6-oktadien-3-ol

18. Geraniol – 2,6-Octadien-1-ol, 3,7-dimethyl-, (2E).

19. Methyl 2-Octynoate

If the fragrance does not contain these substances at all - it is Allergen-free; if contains in small quantities, so that in the final product the percentage of these substances does not exceed 0.01% - the fragrance is considered hypoallergenic. The list of these allergens can be supplemented with substances of individual intolerance.

A large part of allergens belongs to the group of natural substances rather than synthesized. First of all, these are various essential oils of citrus, cloves, cinnamon. Therefore, it is impossible to put an equal sign between the terms “natural” and “hypoallergenic” cosmetics.
