Powder encapsulated fragrances are perfect for washing powders, synthetic detergents and cleaning products. The technology of application is rather simple and involves dry mixing with the base.

Fragrance is a complex mixture of synthetic and semi-synthetic compositions that are added to cosmetics or household chemicals.

Main household chemicals, that contain fragrances are following:

Fragrances are divided into following groups:

• floral,
• pine,

Dry fragrance is a white or slightly colored powder with a given scent. The fragrance is made on various bases with certain attributes (water solubility, substantive). These bases can be cyclodextrins, maltodextrin, sodium hexophosphate, etc. Shelf life of dry powder fragrance in a sealed package is 12 months with the loss of the fragrant component less than 2% (for Beta-cyclodextrin). Dry powder fragrance significantly facilitates the production technology of washing powder, perfumed cleaning agents, bath salts and other products, by simple mixing technology and avoiding the introduction of liquid fragrance. The unique encapsulation method allows the fragrance to be released evenly and thus retain the smell of the final product throughout its shelf life. The percentage of dry fragrance input in the base is usually around 0.02 – 0.4%, depending on the final product.
